Stop Buying Salad Dressings – Make This Instead!
If you’re trying to eat healthier, one of the simplest changes you can make is to ditch store-bought salad dressings. While they might seem like a convenient option, most are loaded with preservatives, refined oils, and hidden sugars—things your body definitely doesn’t need.
But here’s the good news: making your own dressing is incredibly easy. And once you do, you’ll wonder why you didn’t start sooner.
This Asian-inspired tahini dressing is one of my absolute favorites. It’s punchy, creamy, and seriously delicious. Perfect for drizzling over crunchy slaws, tossing with leafy greens, or spooning onto grain bowls. Best of all, it’s made with real, wholesome ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.
🥢 DIY Asian-Inspired Salad Dressing
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
1 clove garlic, peeled
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
¼ cup tahini
1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed—add a splash of water if it’s too thick.
Pour over your favorite salads, bowls, or roasted veggies. Store any leftovers in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to a week.
