Healthy banana choc chip blondies

When it comes to indulging in desserts, brownies are an all-time favorite. But what if you could enjoy this rich, chocolatey goodness without the guilt? Enter healthy chocolate chip brownies—made with wholesome ingredients that don’t compromise on flavor or texture. If you're looking for a treat that satisfies your sweet tooth and fits into a healthy lifestyle, this recipe is a must-try! They are sooo delicious and perfect for a breaky on the run.

Why Choose Healthy Brownies?

Here’s how our version of chocolate chip brownies checks all the boxes:

  1. You can eat these for breakfast!

  2. Natural Sweetness: Instead of relying on refined sugar, this recipe uses the natural sweetness of a ripe banana. Bananas not only add moisture but also provide a subtle sweetness, cutting down the need for extra sugar.

  3. Nut Butter Goodness: Nut butter adds healthy fats and protein, giving the brownies a satisfying richness without the need for butter or oil. Almond or peanut butter both work perfectly, contributing creaminess and depth of flavor.

  4. Whole-Grain Power: Oat flour, which is simply ground-up oats, replaces refined flour. This whole grain provides fiber and a hearty texture, making the brownies more filling and nutritionally balanced.

  5. Dark Chocolate Chips: Using dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content ensures you're getting more antioxidants and less sugar. Plus, those little bursts of chocolate throughout the brownie add a decadent touch!

This will make enough for 4 pieces. Double the recipe to increase the serves.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
