Almond Flour Donut Holes



Ingredients:

1 cup almond flour

1/4 cup yogurt

1 tsp baking powder

1 tablespoon sweetner

1 tsp cinnamon

Cooking spray or oil for greasing (optional)


For the Topping:

1 tbsp butter

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp sweetener


Instructions:

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix well to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.


Add Yogurt into the dry mixture. Stir until a dough forms.


Form Dough Balls: Take small portions of the dough and roll them into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the dough balls on a plate or tray lined with parchment paper.


Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.


Cook Donut Holes: Spray the donut holes with cooking oil. Place the dough balls in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time, until the donut holes are golden brown and cooked through.


Topping: In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Mix the sweetener and cinnamon. Coat the holes in the butter then the cinnamon mixture.


These donut holes are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Enjoy!
