Here’s how I made this DELICIOUS and healthy slice. This simple yet delicious slice embodies the essence of whole foods, and I can’t get enough of it. 🌿 Layered with a creamy yogurt custard on top, it’s an indulgent but virtuous piece of food.
Base
1.5 cups almond flour
1 tablespoon Coconut oil
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
Topping
1 egg yolk
Juice of 1 lemon
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
Preheat oven to 170 deg C.
Mix almond flour, coconut oil maple or honey until well combined. If too loose, add a little more almond flour. Press evenly into a lined tin. Bake for 10 mins until lightly golden.
While the base is cooking, add the remaining ingredients to a bowl, whisk until well combined.
Remove base from oven, pour over custard mixture.
Bake for another 15 mins until custard is set.
